Welcome to the Berresford Motors of Cheddleton archive website which is compiled by the Berresford Enthusiasts and pays tribute to the Berresford Family's former bus and travel business. Universally known and recognised by the travelling public Berresford's ran as a major independant operator in Staffordshire until their closure in 1987.
The final operating day was 4th September 1987, here you will see picture galleries of Berresford's vehicles presented in decade order, there are humourous anecdotal stories provided by retired engineer Trevor Berresford and also a research section containing historical documentation with information and memorabilia from the old Company.
